	Alpha Centauri: The Moovie Enter the AD-FREE zone

unlike Civ, SMAC has a back story. could it be made into a moovie? what it would be like? what the the plot would exactly be? what about casting, who would act who?, known or unknown actors? what about other aspects of the moovie?

As a thread...in fact, it had a fair number of actor pictures posted in it, comparisons between the faction leaders and the actors who would play them...IIRC Alynzia was fairly instrumental in the thread...

Bwha ha, I remember having a dream about SMAC a year or two ago... I can't remember if I dreamed about a movie or if I dreamed about actually being on Chiron. Either way... it is a sure sign of SMAC addiction

Kim Il Sung is dead and has been so for nearly a decade.

My grandfather actually looks like Sheng Ji Yang but his personality is somewhat different.

Actually, my grandfather is deceased as well.

My father's got Sheng Ji Yang's personality down pat, but he doesn't look like him.

I created a custom faction once called the Paternalists ruled by the iron fisted Paterfamilias. His faction got a +50% to their research, and got a free Punishment Sphere in every base.

That is very similar to my dad.

I also had a SMAC dream that Captain Svensgard was trying to seduce me with a date rape drug.

The funny thing about this was that it was all happening underwater, which I suppose would have taken some of the gravity concerns out of the question.
