Tired of ads?

I was afraid that I will have to do that. It was the only logical explanation, that Poly is converting every linebreak from the code in .. well, in a linebreak.

The code will be a mess, but eventually I'll do it. I was thinking also to add an extra column for each civ that would show the gain in the last turn, only not quite now.

Edit: I think I've solved it. I made Poly believe that the table is actually a code and it is now ignoring linebreaks.

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

Updated to 1225bc turn - ND gaining a bit while RP is keeping pace with us - Vox is starting to really fall behind as they only gained 1 point this last turn.

Updated to 1100BC.

Since the Luxian war, the civs grew as follows:

GS - 29 points
ND - 30
GW - 22
RP - 28
Vox - 20
Lego - 26

Needless to say, everybody is rexing right now, trying to secure good land and resources, and thus the situation is very fluent.

As you can see, the fastest growing teams are the ND, the GS and the RP, with us closely following. Our points are somehow lower than it could be, as he haven't connected our luxury yet (losing 2 points for every happy citizen).

From these civs, the most potential seem to have the GS and us, because our research power. The ND and RP are lacking behind in the tech race already, but presumably both of them are focusing on military build-up.

Interestingly enough, the GoW is growing only a little bit faster than the Voxes. These 2 teams are losing ground with the elite. They seem to need our help (tech, money, good trades, etc), because as good as our relations with the GS are, we don't want them to have an entire continent, do we? Same goes for the RPs, and with the amazing ND (amazing because despite a resource consuming war, where they weren't able to conquer any city, they are still growing faster than anybody else, including the "strategist-team" GS).

Agreed, assuming they really are dragging behind and aren't just building up for war.

ND has probably been able to keep pace thanks to the settler they popped from a hut (even earlier than us; that settler was their second city). They just might be the most powerful Bob civ right now; their land may not be great, but they have as much of it as the other Bob civs, and likely have a strong sword force from the Lux war.

Put an end to popups!

Updated to the 1075 bc turn.

Although the score isn't everything a trend has been happening since 1625bc.

At 1625, our lead over RP and ND peaked at 13 points and has declined ever since mostly due to a sharp rise by RP.

However, here are the increases in scores from 1625bc for all teams:

GS 98 to 148 - 50 points
ND 106 to 155 - 49 points
GoW 85 to 127 - 42 points
RP 106 to 161 - 55 points
Vox 77 to 112 - 35 points
Lego 119 to 165 - 46 points

That means that somehow GS, ND and RP have all gained more points than us since 1625bc. Now admittedly the most likely cause of that is cultural expansion since all 3 of those civs are religious. But we should keep an eye on this.

Equally disturbing is that GoW has nearly kept pace with us since 1625 despite not being religious.

With our 8th and 9th cities nearly ready to be founded, it will be interesting to see if the other civs will keep pace (or even if they will continue to close the gap with us...)

Updated.

In an imaginary classification of the last 10 turns, we are fighting for one of the last places!

GS - 26
ND - 28 !!
GW - 20
RP - 26
VC - 17
Us - 21

I hope these 3 new cities of ours (Zargonia, Dye Fields and the southern one) will help us grow a little faster and join again the best performers.

Well, keep in mind that the other teams get points for happy faces, which we don't... we get them for territory ONLY. That's why we seem to be doing worse and worse...

IMHO, the less points we have now, the better for us, as others will believe we do not have THAT much land to settle... plus, we already know that our economy is very strong - RPers & ND are not able to keep pace with us research-wise, which tells us something, too...

Well, yes, this is true. I'm curious to see what will happen when we road the first dye.
This could also explain why did the ND and GoW grow so quickly in the last few turns. They're probably trading luxuries. GoW is providing wines, while the ND ... I don't know. The GoW has spices, so what could that be? They can't be that stupid to sell to the GoW iron?

This could also be a consequence of the fact that they have a big military and are not researching on 100%. But even so, yes, with all of our corrupt distant cities we still have the second GNP, MFG Goods and productivity, which is very good and ecouraging.

Btw, Madrid has grown to size 6 for 3 or 4 turns. They are probably building a wonder, even though I can't imagine wich one. Are they going for the Pyramids or is it a prebuild for a medieval wonder?

Full PM-box? Change here!

ND must be getting a lot of happy faces then as they rose 4 points again in the 875bc turn, while the rest of us rose 3 points except for Vox which rose only 2.

Oh yeah, BUMP!!

Hmm, our largest lead was at 1625bc - since then the scores are alarming to say the least:

Since 1625:

GS 97 (98 to 195)
ND 94 (106 to 200)
GoW 82 (85 to 167)
RP 95 (106 to 201)
Vox 59 (77 to 136)
Lego 83 (119 to 202)

Admittedly only the 3 religious civs are ahead of us since 1625bc - but still the gap between us, GoW keeping pace with us and the HUGE gap between Vox and the rest is interesting!

Vox is at an all out push to win the war. I suppose if they eliminate GS, then the will have the whole continent for themselves. Not a bad plan.

I'm satisfied with the scores. The top 5 are all bunched up. When we are way ahead, there is too much jealousy. Also this means that the other civs are busy Rexing, and researching and not building a huge army. If we see someone falling behind (for no apparent reason), then we may get concerned.
