Ok, I just got a new PC minus internet, so I've had to reinstall Civ III from the basic disk, so no updates.
I finally got Marla Singer's Huge World Map across, loaded etc, and then when I double-click in scenario menu it says 'Version 3.08 is invalid'!
Now I think it's to do with not having the updates Marla Singer did when she did the map, which means I'm buggered without the internet. But on the off-chance, anyone know a fix?

there is nothing wrong with Marla's Map , .....
turn your security software down when you get the map if you have some , ....
