well... I only agree in part. If we could trust Lux, then you're absolutely right. But Lux its diplo record is far from spotless, so if they promised something to us that means that Vox (who is far more important to us right now, we need to keep them happy) is being done injustice, we should speak up.

This whole thing has some fishy sent(sp?) to it, from the outside it looks like Lux is trying to worsen the relation between Vox and GS, to profit from it. I can't blame them for trying, but I would certainly want to avoid any troubles because of this asylum... I think we should clear this up with both teams before agreeing to anything else. And, as I don't want to deny Lux the possibility to screw Vox (as long as we don't lose face), we need to contct Trip to really make sure we're getting the right image.

I think we agree completely, DeepO. I was actually surprised to see that no one blinked twice when we learned that Vox has Lux's 150 gold, and that we're supposed to deal with Vox to help Lux. Neither Vox or us has to do anything for Lux, as far as I'm concerned. The gold would be nice, but all we really want is Lux's map.

Oh, and it's spelled 'scent', but you usually use 'smell' or 'stench' in the given context (trying to be helpful ).

stench would do nicely... I think that's the most accurate description of Lux's diplo record

The reason I keep going on this is that as far as I can tell, the only place where we learned of the 150 gold being in Vox hands already is the chat with Vox, it was not confirmed by Lux. I'm not sure if this is definate yet, it could be, but it looks like some kind of mistake, or cover up from one of the two nations... it's certainly not our fault, so I see little reason to give others the advantage by agreeing to a lesser deal. They want it; they pay for it, period.

Again, I agree, but I'm a little confused about what's going on with Vox. Seems like we're splitting the 150 gold between us now. Not sure why...

It's a full-time job to keep up with all the diplomacy in this game!

well... the world map is far more important to us then the gold, so I can imagine why more of our members are willing to pass on the 'missed' 75 gold. I don't mind either to get less, actually, but I'm still strugling to find reasons why. At first it sounded that we were going to get both 150 gold (part of which we could use to get MM from GoW), and a worldmap, now we're settling for 60 gold less (as we would get 15 gold from Vox to make the deal with GoW). I don't mind, I think this is acceptable, but not as long as it isn't 100% clear that Lux indeed has no money left, this feels like they are ripping us off.
