Then i correct my statement, many black men I know from the lower/working classes prefer any white woman over any black woman. And since there are many more poor black men than affluent black men, well you can do the math.

They were discussing the preference for 'thin' women as opposed to 'thick' women. I suppose less educated people would prefer thick women over better educated preferring thin.

This has some merit, because I remember reading a study saying that parents give less money for college to a thick daughter than one who is thin.


Right there, this reaction could explain most of the preferences. Better educated have more contact with thinner women, and thus develop a preference.

Just so you know- all other things considered equal, I'd take the thick woman. Much more healthier in the long run.

I wish I had links to some of the old studies that were done... But from what I remember... Black women were pissed of at mixed relationships because the successful black males were selecting white companions as a status symbol, making it harder for black women to find "good" husbands. And then it got worse as many black males aspired to having white women to prove they were as good as the successful black males... pissing off the black women EVEN more... And with the death/imprisonment rate of black males in the inner cities... black women were getting even MORE pissed because it was getting harder and harder to find a man.

Now... more white males are willing to have a mixed relationship so the numbers are starting to even up for females... But there was a lot of hate back then toward mixed relationships by black females. (not to mention all the bigots that didn't think too much of mixed relationships either )

Wasn't there a study a couple of years ago showing men preferring asian women and women preferring black men, with the result that black women and asian men were left in the cold?

In Melbourne, we don't have many blacks and I've certainly seen women make an extra fuss over black men. At the few clubs where you see black men, they will typically arrive with a blonde on their arm.

Most rich black men have black wives, there are some with non-black wives that get a lot of attention, but it's a minority. Besides, how do you do a "study" on why two people enter a romantic relationship? It's none of your vucking business. Maybe they met and fell in love!

Static's statement that black men prefer any white women to a black women is utterly stupid. If that were true every black man would have a white girl, ...you know they could.
