An AC-130 is a cargo plane that's been converted to have a bunch of guns, including 105 mm howitzers, sticking out of one side. They fly around in circles and blow the hell out of poor people on the ground.

To me it sounds like "Up!" "Ready!" which would be quite a bit more natural considering the 105mm is hand-loaded one round at a time.

First of all I have to say, what kind of a person enjoys seeing this? It is interesting and all that, but I wouldn't say it was 'hella cool'.

But anyway, ac-130 is one might piece of aircraft.
I think they said boom-bang? or something bang anyway. I don't know, but I think it's some kind of standard procedure they do everytime when targets are hit. Could be that everyone in the operation won't get the video feed, or someone losts it for other reasons, but everyone can hear it so they know what is happening. Also it can be just to make sure everyone really notices who are working in the operation. That's my thoughts, I could be wrong.
