Actually... he never got "punished" specifically for that. He did get nailed when all he did was rant and was told to stop and he didn't... but not for calling me an alien lover... all in good fun

And yeah, evangelism was funny... but nothing beats the old EVC vs EC threads... especially the one when he forget to switch back log ons... Now THAT was funny

No. Nor to Afganistan. To Pakistan, even Cuba, but really high price. Lufthansa flys to Kabul, however. Really expensive. I want to visit Kabul. It would be fascinating, I daresay.

On the other hand, we did fly to Moscow during the Cold War.

Unfortunatly, North Korea's situation can't get much worse. Which must mean that EVC's takeover will make things... better?

You can visit as a tourist. Only Americans are not allowed since they are all assumed to be spies.

Basically, you're picked up by a bus with a tour guide/'minder' who will show you certain sites if you want to for a fee.

You must stay in the quite posh foreign tourist hotels, which are of course bugged, and which are also fairly echoey. Although far beyond the means of NKs, they are a fairly good deal for a fairly luxurious hotel. All amenities, remember starvation isn't caused by lack of food, but by lack of income.

The tour can include natural beauties such as Mt Geumsang, etc, but will usually include massive doses of prop, such as the Kil il Sung museum, birth house, museum of american badness, etc.

Some people go for a morbid laugh, others hope to see relatives (vainly)
