	AU204: Civ tally Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

Sorry to post yet another thread for AU204, but I messed up the poll on the spoilers thread.

Please indicate which civ you got stuck with, eh, I mean which civ the game chose for you. If you're playing the game more than once, just indicate your second or third civ in a post (no need to change your poll vote).

Anyone know which one is the secret civ?

I got Russia my first try, but since I'd just played part of a game with them in my aborted attempt at the January CivFanatics GOTM, I decided to restart and drew Korea. I'd never really given Korea much thought due to their having a UU that's completely useless to my normal playing style, but the Commercial/Scientific combination could actually prove to be quite interesting. Definitely a candidate for early libraries!

I don't really have time to play right now, but I figured I'd go ahead and see what civ the RNG would give me.

Make sure your shot is 800x600 or smaller, and that it is also under the minimum file size for attachments here on 'Poly. When you post a reply, there's the 'Attach File' area right above the 'Submit Reply' button. If you attach any image-format file (JPEG, etc.), the server will display it for you.

Use a program like PhotoShop (that's what I use, and I unfortunately do not know much about it, so you may need to ask someone else for help if you do not have the program available).

Well, I got the Vikings. I've on ly been the Vikings once before so I'm not to disappointed. Should be a good game.

Does anyone know where I can download something like PhotoShop? I definatly don't want to go out and spend my hard earned money if I don't have to. That and I don't have any hard earned money.

BigDork, you don't need to download or buy any software. Open the .bmp in Paint (start > accessories > paint) and choose Save As... and select .jpg.

I know the sample size will not be big enough, but I'm sort of running an experiment to see if there's a bias toward which civs are "randomly" selected by the game. In my tests, the Koreans and Russians were far more likely than any other allowable civ. The thing that got me thinking is that they're last and first (respectively) in the editor list (after removing Rome)...

Just downloaded it - won't get much chance to play tonight, but I will get some time in tomorrow. I started the game to see which civ I received.

I shall play the lovely Catherine of Russia, PTW AU Mod 1.16 on Emperor.

I got the Russians on my first try when I opened the game. Since I had been playing them in GOTM15 at CFC, I decided to restart and "choose" another civ.
I then got Elizabeth of the English, which will be an interresting challenge to play.
