	Get Out And Vote!!!! Got spare money?

There are 58 of us on this team. Some were quite impatient to get things going or to get authorized. We have importamt discussions going on regarding a constitution, a civ choice, and memberships, and we have heard from a limited few. 13 have voted in the constitution poll. About that many for a civ. And I have asked for feedback on some members and have not heard from them or anyone else regarding them.

I appreciate that many folks said they wanted to be involved but didn't have a lot of time, but please take 'some' time to vote and/or voice your opinion on these early and key decisions.

You are right BetaHound, more people should be involved.

However, I find the Constitution poll rushed. There are some issues we could have discussed in more detail (like deputy ministers or whether to appoint or elect the ministers). Besides, why is the deadline so tight? Only 72 hours? Some people are off in the weekend.

On the other hand, choosing a civ is quite important and urgent, so the more people vote on this, the better.

If the game starts on the 16th, as planned, then we do have some time regarding the constitution, as you have suggested Tiberius.

Perhaps we need secondary polls regarding deputy ministers and election of ministers.

I vote for longer deadlines, by the time I saw some of the polls, they were closed. I need to devote some time to Glory of War, because there are only 14 on our team.

OK - 21 have voted on the constitution, and by last count - 22 on a civ.

That is less than a 38% turn out so far. C'mon folks. Let's get in gear! Civ votes have to be in by the end of Monday.

23 voted for the Consuls

I'd say our numbers are slightly increasing

Hard to vote when I DIDNT EVEN KNOW THIS FORUM EXISTED UNTIL AN HOUR AGO......

Sorry to yell, but advertize a bit and I suspect there will be a better turn out. I know I would not have picked Carthage as first choice, but it is not a bad one either. I just would have prefered a civ with military as one of its streingths..... but industrial and commercial are also very good.

I would like to have a repoll too, since I missed the poll as well... I would have also tried to persuade away from being carthaginians... no offense legodudes, its a great civ but according to my experience playing them in hotseat, num mercs dont turn out as good as you think them to be... oh well at least com and ind is nice and strong trait.. I just wished we could have had at least rel/exp trait but oh well...

A lot of us voted for the Americans due to industrious+expansionist and figured that our early boost might give us that needed push for going either military or builder... the strategy being "we don't need not stinking Unique Unit - these combination of traits might give us that push we need to rock the ancient age w/o a UU "

But oh well... Carthage is a good civ if we can work around the 30-shield defensive unit handicap. Commercial and Industrious is an awesome combination long-term.

Well - for someone who seems able to get to most threads and comment on them, I find this hard to believe.

its a general comment from people , ....

most posters come inhere but are just to late for a poll , due to the fact that the poll lasts only three days in the civ3democrazy game , ....

and btw , when there are votes a lot of people get PM's and are asked to vote , that is if they belong to a political party or are on a buddy list , .....
