The are now a Demo, and researching Fundy, so, expect a gov’t change in their near future, and at war with us (still) and I was right about the Japs in my last term, there are a bunch of a-holes (talking the ones in the game people!) But, there comp. so, don’t think about them have 50+ IQ any-time soon.
Celts- Republic, 2020 gold, Cap: Armagh, and researching: Fundy. Enraged with us, and at war with us, allied with the Mongolians, and no new tech.
Japs- Republic, 2577 gold, Cap: Kyoto, and researching: Machine Tools. Enrage with us, at war with us, and allied with the Carths and China, no new tech.

it might be worthwhile to abandon our city on the celtic continent, its not producing anything worthwhile for us, and its draining resources when we have to rush units or bribe celtic units that come to attack us. we'd be better off without it
