In the year 900BCE two Carthaginian Warriors have approached the city of Gordium and entered it's cultural borders.
The peace loving Persian Empire chose to ignore this provocation in an attempt to maintain peace in Africa.
In the year 875BCE the Carthaginians have broken the peace treaty and attacked Gordium. The glorious Persian defenders held their positions and achieved victory.
In the year 850BCE, despite Persian attempts to contact Hanibal and end the war, Carthaginian forces are still stationed on Persian land.
In response to this dastardly attack, the Persian Empire declares a war of annihilation on puny Carthage.
Hannibal will be hanged in the main square of Persepolis.
The Persian Empire requests China, Russia and the Celts to enact a total Embargo against Carthage.

There's a long weekend coming up and I'm scheduled for a business trip the following week. With the combination of the two, I won't be able to do any turns from April 17 - 20 and April 27 - 30.
I suspect there might be others absent over the long weekend, but should I try to find a replacement for the following week?

yeah I have the save now. My internet was down for a while. plus I tried to play a multi-game and It forced me to upgrade. now I have to reinstall civ.
