I discovered from Togas that there's a trecharous contact-trading deal going on right underneath our noses. These are the basics:
- GoW will trade contact with Vox to Roleplay, since Roleplay has Writing and is capable of such a trade.
- Roleplay will then use the contact with Vox to trade for contact with GS (since again, they have Writing). GoW has negotiated this deal out with Roleplay to begin with.
- GoW will then be compensated for everything which it structured to get 85 gold total from Roleplay, and contact with GS when it's over.
This deal has already been made official between GoW and RP underneath us. However from what I can tell, Vox is completely unaware of this right now.
This gives us an advantage:
If we can get a no-contact trade deal with Vox, it would mean that contact with GS would be choked off at Vox, while we would be the only ones with contact with GS on our continent. Both GoW and RP would be unable to get contact with GS without us, and we could then sell the contact off before things get weird with Vox.
The problem is that we need to get Writing to get an edge... and the problem there is that we were planning on trading contact with Vox to RP for Writing. However, it appears that deal is forever lost, no matter what we do. Therefore, we somehow have to get Writing (from RP appears, unfortunately, since they're the only ones that have it). We can work this out later.
We need to stop this deal in order to protect both our interests and our honor. We have to punish those who would engage in such activity without us knowing about it.

Just another indication that we cannot just either GoW or RP (who we are supposed to be allies with), possibly both. I am willing to give RP the benefit of the doubt here. I this GoW has been the one lying and doing stuff underneath our noses the entire time.
