Which celebrities would you trust with your kid? Increase Your PM Length

Neomega posted this in another thread, and I think it will make for a good poll. Which people would you trust with your son or daughter? Assume your kid is 11-15 or so. If you wouldn't trust someone with all types of children, then vote no. For example, you'd vote no for someone you would trust with your son but not your daughter. (Clinton comes to mind)

Here's the quote that gave me the idea.

quote:
Originally posted by NeOmega And I'd rather have Michael Jackson raise my kids if I died than George Bush, Bill Clinton, Jerry Falwell, George Clooney, Alec Baldwin, Rush Limbaugh, Al Gore, Diane Feinstein, Hillary Clinton, Orrin hatch, Tom Brokaw, Dianne Sawyer, Barbara Walters, Celine Dion, Alan Jackson, Dr. Phil , Oprah Winfrey, Dr. James Dobson, Tony Blair, John McCain, Shania Twain, Brittany Spears.... etc., etc., etc.....

edit: I know some options are dead. Assume they're alive.

Tired of ads?

George W. Bush - No. I don't want my kid snorting coke. And considering his own kids are drunken delinquints, no thank you.

Bill Clinton
Hillary Clinton - The Clintons seem to have done a terrific job with Chelsea, who is an upstanding young woman.

John Kerry - Yes

Ralph Nader - Yes

Tom Brokaw - Yes

Oprah Winfrey - a hesitant yes

Dr. Phil - God no.

Ann Landers - probably the best choice on the list, yes.

David Letterman - sure, why not?

Britney Spears No.

Michael Jackson God, no. He's not responsible with his own children

Avril Lavigne No

Eminem funny. NO

Dr. Dre (rapper) - No

Ja Rule (more pop rapper) No

James Hetfeild (Metallica) No

Kurt Cobain (Nirvana) Hey, he'd be quiet at least. No.

Jennifer Aniston No

Reese Witherspoon No

John Lennon No

Rush Limbaugh Never ever

Faith Hill Yes

Let's see:

Bush would just accidentally set something on fire or trip over something or choke on a pretzel or start a war with Iraq. Clearly not a good rolemodel for a kid.

If I had a teenage daughter, Bill Clinton might not be a good choice. The definition of 'teenage' is 'any age' and definition of daughter is 'child or housepet of either sex'.

Hillary Clinton couldn't even husbandsit. I mean, come on!

John Kerry has a freaky mutant head. The child would just get scared.

Ralph Nader would use the child as a crash test dummy in finding out whether my car was unsafe at any speed, esp. 200 km/h.

Tom Brokaw's some news guy, right? Damn you Americans for assuming we know all your stupid news guys. ARVI LIND! (I would trust my child with Arvi, actually...)

Oprah Winfrey would be sassy, and sass is weird and frightening.

Who the heck is Dr. Phil? Is he like Dr. Nick Riviera? Maybe he's like Dr. Dick from that E-Rotic video. Mmm, E-rotic...

I'm going to ignore Ann Landers, since I know she's one of those 'Ask this person' columnists, and not much else. CULTURAL IMPERIALISM!

David Letterman's not shown in Finland, but I've heard he's worse than Conan. I'd let Conan babysit my kid, though.

Britney Spears is already a slave 4 me, and I'm not going to waste her talents in no babysitting.

Michael Jackson's just going to do something weird.

Ahh, I'm going to ignore the rest. Just assume I reject them in amusing and hilarious ways, even though I haven't done it thus far. However, I'd like to say Kurt Cobain would be a bad choice, since you'd never get the smell out of the sofa, and kids might be freaked out by the hole in the head.

"We have stymied the U.N.'s Treaty on the Rights of the Child, at least to this time." - Dr. James C. Dobson

He also accused conservative icon William Bennett of being "pro-abortion" because Bennett expressed approval of Colin Powell as a possible Republican presidential candidate.

Dobson has also used his position to deliver unsubstantiated pscyhological advice that could adversely effect children:

http://www.rapidnet.com/~jbeard/bdm...dobson/self.htm

And of course:

"My observation is that women are merely waiting for their husbands to assume leadership." - Dobson

Kurt Cobain is well... err... you know

I voted David Letterman. He is great.
Ralph Nader. Not sure why I voted him. He can't be that bad can he?
Tom Brokaw. My favourite network news anchor. I have a lot of repsect for this guy. He is the type of guy I would like.

And lastly, but most important. Reese Witherspoon. I think it is safe to say I am in total love with her and want her to carry my children . I fell in love with her after her breakout role in Freeway. Although I wouldn't want her character in freeway to raise my children .

Well, not to defend GWB, but at least he hasn't had any of his children murdered or flee the country in fear of their lives.
