Vote here for the Minister of Infrastructure and Foreign Affairs.

The pole is dependent also on the 2nding by one of the other members of the Court; Mr Mitchell or Miggio.

The only candidate is Locutus and the poll will close at this time on Feb 18 (GMT)

Naturally I vote yes...

Also, why is it dependant on a seconding when the nomination period has expired?

You'll never guess what I voted

Anyway, the Constitution is very clear on this:

Art V, section 1(g):
If no candidate is nominated the Court shall extend the nominations for a further three days. This extension can be repeated indefinitely.

So the nomination should have remained open until the 13th and then be closed. The Judges have little choice but to follow the Constitution here, as far as I can see. There's no necessity to close the thread or anything (now or at any other point), but if the Court wants that, Frozzy or I will gladly do so

Wow, thanks Locutus I really did make a mistake. The earliest the poll could be closed (legally) was 2:55 GMT-6 on the 14th of Feburary. I though it could be closed a day earlier. I am appalled (and apalled) at the courts lack of acuracy and other spilling errors.

I think ill try an amendment poll once the game is under way so that the court can choose how long the nomination should be extended.

think of it as overtime in hockey. first team to score wins.
same in my mind as that "law", the court should be able to set a number of days to extend nominations.

thats my thought, but until the game is under way im not going to use my time in that particular area yet.
