Yes, they believed if 10,000 people filled in Jedi knight as there religion, then it would become officially recognised .. unfortunatly, it wasn't true.

the census cost me 25 quid a month, i'd got lost in the water companys computer and hadn't paid any water bills for over a year, two months after i filled the census in - guess who starts writing me letters?
i know i should be grateful for the 14 months i got, but i still can't help wishing i hadn't filled the bugger in!

i knew they can't pass your info to private companies, does that extend to utilites companies and government dept etc, if it was a coincedence it makes it easier to take! no more kicking myself for filling it in

Two months after the census, they were still counting the forms and had barely started processing them. Co-incidence I would think.

Did you go on the electoral roll at around the same time? That's public and the utility companies can and do use it.

Is anyone worried that as the 2001 census suggests i.e. ethnic minorities now make up 9% of the population. If the current rate of growth Aglo Saxon's will be a minority before 2060!
