	Sixth city name discussion - Maquiladora! Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

I believe the name of the Sixth city should be discussed now. For the next city naming I will choose a important member of our community to name a city.

And this time i will be honour our former Minister of Defense Maquiladora. For all the effort he gave to the community and CTP2 although he is not very active in the past week when he had resigned of his position!

For being the first Minister of Defense of the DG; who held his position as MoD in the second tem re-electing in one of the most difficult election so far; for leading our armies in the exploration tasks in the beginning of the game; For being alert in the modding playtesting; For posting constantly in here in his first term; For being one of the few people who wrote in the Lemuria History; And for participating in most of the game chats.

I have chose the name 'MaqDonalds'. But i believe he will find a name he likes the better.

So, Maquiladora, you can choose any name you want. it is in your hands.

Thanks Pedrunn, I think I would prefer "Aquila", meaning Eagle in Latin (i think) just cause it sounds good.

I know ive not been very active of late (work stuff), but ill have to keep an eye on my city now

Maquiladora sounds very Spanish (a maquillador is a make-up artist in Spanish ), so how about Maqiudad (ciudad = city)? Or Maquillaje (make-up)?

Id say keep something of the name of the city we're capturing, whichever city that might be, but if not Maqiudad is fine by me.

And im not a make-up artist, im a foreign owned assembly plant on the US-Mx border

we spend too much time on names, the pres and turnchat people sould just call it anything that isnt ofensive or hard to remember

we have a constitution which requires that the people vote on city names, pedrunn's doing a good job staying ahead of the work so when he plays he knows exactly what to name the city.

Actually I believe we are spending too few time in discussions about other stuffs.

Those are my function and if we are talking bout it is because i am doing my job correcly. But i would like to say the same for the MoD and MoDA function. To improve this vote me and baggins respectively.

Read my speech for MoD. It says exacly this! I want to increase the number of discussions in war and defense issues

BTW, this thread is a honour for Maquiladora. You dont need to read this. or even post here wait for the official poll to complain

If everyone agrees and if the next president continues using this naming system this thread could have bee done secretly trhough PMs. I just thought the people could help the honoured person to choose the best name. But for the current system this thread is necessary forum-open or through PM.
