No new news...

Carths- Republic, 2068 gold, Cap: Girba, and researching: Electricty. Enraged and at war with us, and allied with the Japs. and the Vikings, no new tech.

Mongolians- Fundy, 2732 gold, Cap: Karakorum, and (still) researching: Steel. Enraged and at war with us, and allied with the Celts and Vikings, and have Fundy.

*Note, polls will end Sunday morning because I go out of town after church*

fundy doesn't do us much good unless we get diverted on our research path - then its viable to steal. Of course, if the mongols have a tech we don't, then it does help our research rate slightly (of course isn't the key civ concept what made the mongols a threat in the first place? )

Carths should be easy enough again to trade with, mongols would be easier if we get a transport out of quinsay at some point

I'm opposed to stealing Fundy, for the same reason I'm opposed to stealing Guerrilla. It does nothing but slow us down at this point.

No point in making peace with either party, either - all that'll mean is that when they sneak attack us and we defend ourselves later, all their allies will declare war on us. (Japanese, Celts, Vikings).

I'm generally opposed to trading with either of these 2 - we need to focus our trade strategy, with China/Japan, IMO.

i think we need to be agresive against the mongols, killing all of their navy, and conquering all of their cites on the same island as kazan, naples, kerman, etc.

I agree with HTower, however we don't want to pursue them on their home continent.

Perhaps another intermediate option against the Mongols?
