by go out I mean die.

What are your ideal conditions for death?

Obviously I have been thinking about death a lot lately. I figure I'll die before I hit 40. Either by terrorists or a car accident.


So what conditions would you most like to go out in?

I guess I'd want to be at home. But I'd want a better home than I have now. I'd want one filled with black velvet everywhere . I'd want to be having sex with 2 hot chicks with black hair. The music would be Tool, album Aenima- the song would be Third Eye. Or possibly album Lateralus- song Parabola. I can't decide. Not the most rythmic music to make love to- but that hasn't stopped me from making love to Tool music before. Because I would be having sex I can't be doing much else. But I'd like to have the computer game Baldur's Gate 2 running in the background . Or possibly civ2. Also Simpsons is my favourite tv show, so that should be on the tv. I would also be smoking a bong and drinking samual adams beer.

If it were possible, I'd like to be doing all this stuff in the mountains. As I'm an avid hiker. But that would be hard to swing getting all that stuff up in the mountains. Unless I had a house in the mountains. That'd be cool.

I want to go in such a way that I'm fully alive and healthy one instant and fully dead the next, and not know it's coming. I want to make the transition without being aware I'm making it.

I guess an H Bomb going off directly over my head would best cover my idea of a good death.

I've no fear of Death, so answering this question is difficult at best. I guess my greatest fear is dying without having made a difference, so I guess dying after I've fulfilled my goals is how I want to go out (no specifics on cause-of-death).

My brother and I made a pact that if we both happened to go senile that we'd go sledding down the Grand Canyon in winter (and end our lives in "dignity"). I suppose that now that he's getting married we'd better get his fiancee to agree to the same pact, so that she'll join us in eighty-odd years (and won't raise any objections).

Dissident, don't give this too much energy, k? I've considered that every moment I spend thinking about death comes straight out of my time. Thinking about death is like watching 'Swept Away'. It's time you just want back afterwards.

I've survived the Cuban missile crisis when I was a kid, the cold war up close and personal as a teen, etc...etc. Still here! 44 yrs and counting...

The country has never been stronger vs potential enemies. Compared to back then, this is a piece of cake. The Iraqis aren't the Soviets. People are getting all worked up about attacking Iraq, but really...it's not THAT big a deal.

If you are one of the soldiers attacking, then yes, it's big as the biggest or smallest battle in the world because your universe is on the line.

If you're not, eh...don't sweat it.
