With aerosol/contact contagion, that's because the kill-rate exceeds the contamination rate. With an airborne strain, that ratio would be reversed. Hello pandemic.

Why wouldn't there be? With the way most viruses mutate, I'd be suprised if a lethal, airborne strain of Ebola didn't appear in time...

There are at least 3 known aerosol strains lethal to humans. There's one known airborne strain lethal to moneys. There have only been a relative few outbreaks in the last 30 years to identify them, yet we know of several strains.

I don't like those numbers.
