	Does anyone play Worms World Party? Support Apolyton, buy GURPS/ Alpha Centauri

I have had this idea for some time now:

I'd like to play this game, as a tournament (No, not a normal tournament), don't know if it will work though...

I'll explain my idea, if people are interested (Don't want to spend 30 minutes writing the rules, when nobody is interested anyway)


So? Are there any who's interested?

(We need at least 3 players)

Doesn't seem like others are playing it, but I might want to try with my idea next year (Worms 3D is supposed to be released late this year)

Hehe, too much of my undergrad time was spent playing tourneys of various worms games. Don't think I've played WWP though.

MP started for me with worms (the original one)........but later we had a LAN and other games like Quake took over. Worms is a fun game though, a few beers and a room full of people is all you need for a tourney.

I have only played from Worms 2... and from that point, the gameplay haven't changed (Only gave you more possibilities to change it)

There's a worms 3D coming out? Excellent. I spent many a long college evening playing Worms 2 with 10 people packed in a dorm room... I was a little worried after that Worm's puzzle game out; thought they were drifting from the main concept!

Had a great time playing worms in my dorm. We even had ladder tournaments.

Don't play so much now due to the fact that no one has the game on my floor anymore.

My favourite version is Worms Armageddon. Concrete Donkeys are hilarious!

ADG: Checked out the site; looks great! They actually have 3 screenshots up, but they don't really show much. I'm glad to see it's going to have fully deformable land, as that is such a core concept in worms. It'll be fun to see how ninja-ropes play out in a 3d world...

Worms in 3D, it can only end the series like so many other greats Lemmings 3D anyone?

Ive got WWP and Worms Armageddon, WWP is abit poofy.

Yeah maybe, I played Lemmings 3d and it was whupped by lemmings on my 128K Spectrum.

The worst thing they could do is make Worms a 3D game. It's a shame. All the good 2D games get ruined... Mario, Zelda, Metroid... dun dun dun, another one bites the dust!

Agree... it's really diffecult to make such games in 3D... I really hope they do it right, but I doubt it (But will still keep an eye on the game)...

I have tried both, but the only difference is: There's more options in WWP, it doesn't change the gameplay (only gives you options to change the gameplay)...
