[narrative]
Upon hearing of the death of Decedro Togas, Fletcher Dejon runs to his deathbed.
"I am coming, Decedro!"
Fletcher pulls out his polished bronze dagger and plunges it into his own heart...and collapses over his deceased Lord.
When the news gets to the Dejon family, chaos ensues.
Fletcher spent his life devoted to the Togas line and Spain, and did little to keep his family organized in his latter years. There is no clear successor for Señor of the family. Will one of the Dejon officers in the Spanish military step up? Will the head of the Dejon Weapon shop claim authority? No one knows.
Rumours quickly spread about Dejon family squabbles and infighting, sullying the proud family name. One thing is for sure - regardless of who is eventually named Señor Dejon - it will take some time for the Dejon name to recover from this tragedy.
[/narrative]
[OOC]
I informed Togas today that I will be out-of-town for the month of March on business. I do not know yet what my connectivity will be like during that time. He has begun the search for a new Most Trusted Advisor, and will also need a city governor for Saragossa.

These are very sad news. I hope that the spirits will welcome Decedro's spirit.
Anyway, I'm happy to know that his son and our new despot is much more concerned about Spain security as Decedro was.
My family has a long tradition of peaceful building, but maybe it's time to prepare for war. We don't like to fight, but we won't stay quiet as long as there is an small posibility that the people from the north might come and attack us.
I support Augusto in his new policy. Long live Augusto Togas!

As an old man, I am so heartbroken to hear of the death of our great Despot, for it means I have not long to live myself. I am too old and sick to do more than be carried in this litter to the funeral. I can barely remember my name. But my niece Juana and her husband will use the knowledge of Etiquette handed down from Pikesfan to Pikesfan to arrange that the funeral will show the most honour to our late Despot and that all will behave in the most proper and respectful fashion.
Eduardí Pikesfan.

I, jdjdjd jdjdjd V, also known as jdjdjd de Barcelona, do pay homage to the grand despot and gladly will support his son in the military buildup. My grandfather warned of the demons to the north and they have already reared there horrible heads.
The land to the South of the jungle is Spanish, it is our destiny. Destino de Espana! Viva Espana!
Madre Espana
I miss strolling in from the Sea,
My Desire is always to be here
Oh Madre Esapana
Far have I travelled and much have I seen,
Darkest the Mountains,
With Valleys of Green,
Past Painted Deserts,
The Sun sets on fire,
As He carries me home to my Madre Espana
Madre Espana,
I miss strolling in from the Sea,
My Desire is always to be here
Oh Madre Esapana
Farewell Grand and Illustrious Leader
Welcome to your Son and
may the Spirits guide us to our Destiny!

So foul and fair a day I have never seen before.
What a sad news that your father is dead Mylord, I and my son Aidun loved him dearly. A friend and father of the people has gone.
May the graceful Luna el Salvador, my god, feel mercy for his sole and take him to sit at the right hand of the graceful Luna el Salvador, among our ancestors of old. May he be long remembered and live forth in our hearts.
[Both Aidun Cian the older and Aidun Cian the younger kneel down and pray]
But there is also something fair about this day: a new king has stepped forth to become crowned by our High Priest. May the gods and especially the great Luna el Salvador be with you. May the great Luna el Salvador be with you in your hour of need, Mylord. May you become an even better king than your father has been.
Long live the Crown-Prince!

The Mitchell family is in mourning and asks that a national holiday, a day when we break from our work and take the time to reflect, recreate, and re-etc., for this great man.
