Please help for a newbie! Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

Hello everybody! I'm new here so please ignore if I ask something that was already asked before.
I just upgraded my 1.00 ver game to fantastic worlds and now I downloaded a whole bunch of new icons. i would like to know, if there is a possibility to add new units to the game. So I would like to retain all the old ones, but let's say for the Steel technology I would like to add some more new units with new icons. Is there a way to this ? (I know for a scenario you can do this, but how?) ANd if what if I would like to do this for a normal, "campaign" game?
Many thanks in advance

In your Civ2 directory search for a file named rules.txt . This file controls most settings of Civ2 and can be easily edited.

Put an end to popups!

sorry, i don't know how many slots are available, but you should be able to see how many are open in the rules.txt.

If you want more new units than available slots, you can change the properties and icons for existing ones - get rid of those foolish pikemen for example.

Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

If you want to modify your game even more, you should ask your questions on the "Scenario League / Civ2-Creation " forum!

And so we might even gain a new scenario creator!
