Dunno about anyone else who did, but I plan to make an effort to post screenies and publically answer the things that I've been wondering about once I get my copy (on Poly, at least -- dealing with multiple fan sites is probably too much for me , but I owe it to the fans here, so...). Markos probably answered most everyone's questions, but I never really was able to figure out (based on his and other's descriptions) how good the AI is, so that's something I'm very curious about, and will try to let everyone know how that is.

You think we could sue them for ignoring all of the Russians? I know of at least three other Russians that entered the contest and didn't win... Then, there is also me, and supposing you are russian, you. That's five people. And then I don't know of a single Russian that has won a beta. (Funny thing is, we all live in the US, too Don't know about Tass here, though.)

Do I smell a conspiracy going on here?

I have a feeling my studies are going to go down the drain. And I was going to devote the next two weeks solely to studying, too. Decisions, decisions.

Woo, just got my copy. Got a package from Microsoft Corporation, Custom Distributin II, 1 Microsoft Way, Redmond-USA. And i'm saying to myself, what the hell is this? Turns out its the beta, forgot I had even signed up.

I had recieved an e-mail, but it was for my hotmail account(I use for misc junk) and not my main, so I didn't notice it. This is a nice suprise, going to go install now.

Playing around with it for a bit now.

Seems to crash at random times though... just drops back to the desktop. Aah well... maybe when the beta-prosess starts, there will be a patch to fix it.

I had forgotten I had signed up for the beta. (And I didn't think they'd send it out to Sydney).

I received a delivery from DHL yesterday and it contained the beta2 cd. That made my day!

Hmmmm, I never got an email telling me that I had won. I hope my spam filter didn't delete the thing. This might be a problem.... I won't have access to the forums/groups people talked about.
