Still, I can't wait for when they show 'Ali G in America' over here, it could be his best series yet from what I gather...

I think it's really that the US media industry is so much bigger than the UK one, so we in the UK pick up on US stuff much more quickly.

The UK stuff filters much more slowly into the US.

They'll get it eventually

Hey, I'm trying to be polite...

Actually on closer inspection the french lavender was found hiding in my garden's dark recesses...

As for the gigantic english stuff - no idea!

Our theory is that the g/f of the couple renting my flat is petrified of bees and the Lavender attracted the bees to the proverbial honeypot and was right next to the door. Her mother was over for a while and may have done some extra-curricular 'gardening'...

The guy, being a guy has no clue of anything and the g/f broke up with him before their lease was up, taking her secret with her back to Namibia...

How's the digicam coming along - are you getting more time to play Civ II now that she's distracted?

I read about this guy in Newsweek. It will be interesting watching him. The article made him sound like a funny guy and he certainly has an interesting background.

Actually the point is getting a serious interviewee who's obviously there for the public exposure and making them squirm and look stupid...

For example:

the whole point is that the interviewee doesn't know its a setup, THAT what makes it funny. it's one of the reasons he had to go over to the US, everyone in the UK was on to him!!

there's a couple of clips of him on Kazaa, but i can see it being the type of humour that doesn't 'travel' well!

I read somewhere thou that one of the US papers that DID give a good review was the NY Times, which I'd always thought was a quite conservative paper?
