Well I've never heard of an identitiy hearing and I'm reasonably knowlegebale on the law, why would a 72 year old engineer form Bristol no about them

It was the SA police who arrested him not the FBI and the reasons for that arrest have already been stated.

The FBI said consistently that they had the right man, even when the evidence pointed obvioulsy the other way.

I ahve no problem with them holding him for a day or 2 maybe even 1 week at a push but 3, thats just daft

I'm sure the SA and British consulate could have helped more, they are all implicated in locking up an innocent man. I would sue all of them at once.
