Much too late, we should use our second warrior for home duties. The First is already out scouting. We don't know enough about our territorry and where another civ may have settled. There could be an exploring warrior on the way, we should be ready. I wouldn't count on ANY type of negotiating to rebuff an advancing unit upon an unguarded Capitol. If it were me, I'd take it out! Hasta la vista, baby!
Maybe I play a little cautious, at least in the begining, but I know we'll be alive at least.
Exploring is very important, but not enough to sacrafice our citizens' safety, no, our entire Civilizations' saftey for the sake of exploration.

NYE is correct. I do want to be able to excort the settler and defend the city and the same time, so the second warrior shouldn't stray too far.

That would be good and bad at the same time. Unimpeded growth but with no tech trading partners.

Exactly, trading begets more trading, if only out of fear of what the 'jone's' are doing!
