Does Canada have gun control laws? Increase the size of your Attachments

Does it? I heard that it dont and that the per capita percentage of guns is actually greater than in the US. Is this true?

a) Yes we do have much stricter gun control laws than the US does
b) There are ~7.5 million guns in Canada, or 1 for every 4 people. In the US there is 1 gun for every person, IIRC.

The percentage of handguns in the US is higher than Canada. The majority of Canada's guns are hunting rifles and shotguns.

Around 1/3 of US guns are handguns, IIRC.

The number for Canada is ~6-8%

Personally, the only weapons I think should be legal are 18th century muskets... that way we can keep the freedom of arms in the spirit of which the Founding Fathers understood.
