SMAC in Windows 2000!!! Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

Hello guys!

As a 'warm up' to Civ3 I've just installed SMAC on my machine with Windows 2000. Unfortunately, though, the game won't lauch as I am being sent back to windows when trying.

My question to you, the experts, is whether or not it's possible to run the game on a Windows 2000 platform instead of having to install Windows ME to get the game up and running.

Will it require some sort of patch or special adjustments???

Put an end to popups!

Get the latest drivers for your graphics card, if that doesn't work get the latest direct x . If that doesn't work your ****ed.

You may need to download the latest service pack for Win 2000 from microsoft. I have SMAC running on Win 2000 without any problems.
