	Need help Increase the size of your Attachments

Hi

I have read the FAQ on how to change the resolution in the game but I havent been able to make it work. I dont know what im doing wrong. Tried lots of combinations. It says that you should add 800 1024 to the video headings. Maybe im blind but i dont see where to insert that. Maybe there is something wrong with my AC.ini file? I have attached a copy of it so you can see if something is wrong. If someone that is running the game on higher resolutions could send my a copy of their AC.ini file it would be great!

Where in the file have you added that line? I think you have to add it under the [Preferences] section, right before "ForceOldVoxelAlgorithm"...

Still doesn´t work. I dont know, this is weird. Could someone that is running the game on higher resolution send me their AC.ini file?

So what does SMAC/X run in by default without the INI file being altered? I have friends who claim their monitors are too small to run SMAC/X - is it possible to set the video mode down so they can run it?

It would seem that (without a setting in the ini) the game would run at whatever the screen resolution is set to (in Win98) at {Start} {Settings} {Control Panel} {Display} {Settings} {Screen Area}.

I'm running it at 800x600 on a 14" Optiquest Q41 monitor with an S3 ViRGE/DX 2MB video card. I run all the unit animations and movies with no problems. I don't have the Video Mode line in my ini, and the "voxel" line is 0.
Note: When pasting someone else's .ini into yours, you might want to delete their "Latest Save", "Latest Map", and "Latest Scenario" lines, just to avoid any hiccups. They'll be written in for you when you run the game.
