Worker deal with GoW Enter the AD-FREE zone

GhengisFarb contacted me with the following issue:

They are able to capture our worker in 2 turns. They feel it's more 'efficient' to capture the worker (before we disband it or ND destroys it) and compensate us for it.

We discussed various deals:

They capture the worker, and...

  1. ...they get to use it for X turns - then they move it to their capital and turn it over to us. An amount of gold may be 'loaned' to us in this period for safety.
  2. ...they give us Y gold as compensation.
  3. ...they give us their World Map.
  4. ...they offer us MapMaking for 40 gold.


I told him that I would discuss these options. They will have MapMaking in 5 turns. Since the worker is more efficient in our civ, we'll have the option of buying it back from them.

ND is in the area and will otherwise capture it, anyway.

What do you think?

Suffering from ads?

As much as I hate dealing with GoW, we must do what's in our best interests. Map Making for 40 gold is too tempting to pass up.

I agree. Anything we can get for that worker at this point I consider a bonus. It is doign us much good anyways..
