I live just north of Washington State. You'd think I'd have gotten mine already, no?

what do you think of the specs?
"It is recommended that your computer have a processor speed of 1 gigahertz (GHz) or higher, at least 256 megabytes (MB) of RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce 3 video card or better, and a broadband Internet connection for Internet multiplayer play."
Not a problem, even my laptop (barely) makes it, but it does seem high for a strat game. I have been out of RTS for a while, is this standard?

For anyone interested, the system specs for the beta are higher than the specs for the final release. Our minimum spec for the final release will be a 500gig, 128 Megs of Ram, win98 or higher. A lot of our work since the beta was sent out has been on improving performance, and we've made substantial gains.
Best,
Tim

Thanks Tim!
Will we be getting info on where to report bugs?
I am already encountering a repeatable creash inthe Boudecia (sp?) tutorial.
Oh, and for what it is worth, the performance on my laptop (which is fairly close to the rec.spec. - 1.2GHz, 512MB, GeForce4 32MB) is quite suitable so far.

I'm not sure about the bug reporting process; MS usually processes bugs through their playtest and passes them on to us. Sorry I can't be more help!

Tim,
That's REALLY good to hear. I was playing the beta last night, and it's an awsome game, but it was slugish on my (admittedly very borderline) system -- especially when the map started to get a lot of units on it. I'm happy to hear that you guys are working on that, since I was getting worried .
