	US version of Civ3 and UK version of PTW? Increase the size of your Attachments

I have the US version of the original civ3, a friend living in the US bought it for me.
I live in Denmark and the version of PTW which is being sold here is the UK version.

Will the game work if I buy the UK-PTW and install it on my US-civ3?
I am very confused so plz help...

Another question:
If I buy PTW will I and a friend (in Denmark) be able to play multiplayer over the internet with only one copy of Civ3 and PTW, or do my friend has to buy the game himself for it to be possible?

There is AFAIK only one Civ3 which works with both the US and UK/euro versions of PTW.

What you need to be careful of is using the correct patch for PTW.

To play over the internet you will (again AFAIK) need civ3/PTW installed on both computers and the game requires the CD to be in the drive to run. (Unless you can find a no-CD crack)

I have a US version of Civ3 and a UK version of PtW. The game works, but there seems to be small strange glitches. I'd advise you to buy PtW from the US with an online shop (Gamestop.com accepted to send the game overseas). It will cost you much more because of the shipping and the toll (about 30 € ), but you'll have none of these problems.

I have the same set-up and havn't noticed anything.

go to the civ3 section of apolyton and order a US english copy true the link , .....
