Support Apolyton or Terrorists Win

Even with whatever other problems it might have, the tactical combat itself its great. Nothing better then 2 carrier Armadas escorted by a short range Wave engage a fleet of system defense ships and planetary defenses. Can't wait till the AI gets its kinks worked out and we have even larger battles happening.

Edit- Though it probably goes without mentioning, I meant MoO3.

MoO3. Once you have a clue what you're doing (which takes a while...), it beats anything else rather easily.

Geesh... a game where reconnaisance and tactics based upon the limitation of knowledge are BUILT IN! It's such a simple change and yet it makes all the difference in the world. The tactics, as such, are much more real. Some people will complain that they don't like that, but screw them.

It's not only realistic, it adds A LOT of depth to tactics when you get to the point of actually using tactics (rather than simply letting the AI fight for you like many people ).

Or that you can hide around planets...that's so wonderful...

It's not even a contest. Ship _building_ was more fun in Moo2, but ship combat is just insane. The orion battles will stay with me for a long time in terms of defining moments in TBS.

I liked the simplicity of MOO over MOO2 tedium.

But, for now, like Arnelos mentioned, I let the AI run my battles.

ACK!
