	Hit ESC too quickly from SitRep -> Planet Suffering from ads?

From the SitRep, click on a planet that has built something, drill down to the military queue or the planetary que, hit esc rapidly to get back to the sitrep screen.

Sometimes, the screen goes back one or two levels, then asks you if you want to quit the game, instead of taking you back all the way to sitrep.

Workaround, drill back down one level, hit esc slower.

What is needed is a consistent function for returning from a screen. Esc should be the same all the time. I don't care if it up one level or clear all levels, but make it the same at all times. Give us another key to handle to the opposite task. Say ESC clears, and F12 up one or visa versa. Remove ESC as an exit the game. This is too dangerous. Make CTL-Q or something the exit game function. I am always hitting ESC and often being asked if I want to quit. How often do I exit the game anyway? Do I need a hot button for it?

G is for galaxy map right? So I guess it will clear out the nested levels and if so that is fine. It will still not answer the inconsistency of drilling down and wanting to go back up one step at a time. It is great to have a means to go all the way out, but we need to see things work the same way all the time. That is, if I am in sitrep and take a hyperlink and then drill some where else and possibilly even firther dowm, I should be able to back up to the highest level, in this case the Sitrep.
Often if you start at the sitrep you can not back up to that point. You have to open the Sitrep again. The game has enough clicking already, ISO standards require applications to function in a common way, that is F3 should do the same thing in all screens, if it is up one level or escape out. It needs to be consistent.

press ESC to go back one level, g to go back to galaxy map. To go back to sitrep click on 'sitrep' button on top left of screen. Enjoy

Whenever you are in planet mode, double click on the sun...for some reason it sends you back to galaxy map.

If you don't get the back button when drilling down from SitRep, try using the - button. It usually takes me back.
