What about Lux's demise at Vox's hand? Not much talk about that. I would think that's important too. What happened there?

I don't think that it is fair for you to ask that here in this forum. The idea behind the thread was to use info from that game to help us here. The exact particulars of the PTWDG shouldn't be discussed here for two reaons.
1. The other teams not on the ISDG wouldn't have access to the information.
2. If Lux wanted the information to be know they would have published it. (And they may yet, not my call.)

I see no reason why the information I'm asking for is any more revealing than all the stuff that has already been said. And I think it is particularly relevant, since it might give us some insights as to how best be "submissive" to other civs who may very well be more powerful than us.

This is a major problem for THIS TEAM, and I'm not talking about revealing too much, the problem is quite the opposite. Most of the players in this game will not talk about the PTW team game because they feel it's more important than this team. Such people are really starting to bother me.
First, This team and this game are more important than our local team game. Yes, the team game is a lot of fun and we should keep playing it, but people are taking it too serious, being too greedy, and refusing to share anything at all about what they have learned in that game out of a paranoid self-interest. There have been several threads started up to discuss what we've learned but very few people volunteered to say anything.
Second, after spilling my guts for the edification of this team, I saw a markedly different response in the Team game from many of the other teams. That really annoyed me. Changing your attitude based on 'out of game' information is very low, and assuming that my team is more dangerous diplomaticly because of my opinions in this game is jumping to conclusions. Frankly, I'm not at all impressed with the job we're doing at the Team Game, we're mildly Machiavellian at best. Most of the lessons I've learned are from mistakes we've made over there.
But back to my point: Let's drop this selfish secrecy bullsh*t and get our priorities straight. The Apolyton Team comes before our PTW teams, not the other way around. We need to act more like a group of friends who are playing a fun internal game together and less like a group of rivals who have been brought together to defeat some common foe. I think a little trust and a lot of openness will help actually make this a team and less of an alternate thread we visit and carefully post into.

I'm surprised that you'd be surprised by this. But this is, in fact, human nature. That's why no information should be shared. Some could contrue it to be an unfair advantage for some teams if information were to come out here in this forum and not in a public one.
As far as making stuff 'public', that's wholly up to the team and it's leadership to decide. Even though I was only one the team for a short time, I'm against making public the happenings within the organization; at least until the game is over and someone could then send an archeologist to find the clues to piece together what has happened.
Heck, why don't all the other teams get together and 'share' and then they'd know what happened. They mya not know what Lux was thinking exactly, but they could get a pretty good idea by piecing together all of the parts of the story.

Granted, the interteam game (PTWDG) is still ongoing, but it was originally set up to get ready for this game. We are being a bit naive to think that what we learn here would not be translated back to the other game. But the thing is to let it be used to become better players in this game and to maybe apply the better things that we learn in the PTWDG, so that we can learn from them for this game (i.e. a Positive Feedback loop). If you use things here to make things more difficult for everybody in the PTWDG, then that won't help us here (i.e. a Negative Feedback Loop).
This game is the Pro league and the other is the College league, so to say. But the thing is to use as much information as we can to get this game the best help that it can get. We have the best Builders, the best Diplomats, the best Strategists and the best Warmongers here. In the PTWDG, they are all separeted by the different teams that they are in. Yes, some things that we have (and likely will reveal here) will get back to the other game, somewhat, but as long as we use that information to make better desisions while playing that game and then using what we learn from it for this game.
This is the all important game, as Apolyton's Reputation is on the line, in more than one way. Yes, some things that we learn here WILL get translated back to the other game, but DO NOT FORGET that almost all of the PTWDG teams have at least 1 member that is on another ISDG team. So be very careful what you bring to that other game from here. Remember the OpSec Principal that I had posted in the Classified thread.

I agree. Some people were saying that we should make sure to get Horses at all costs, because the lack of them is what did Lux in. I think this is an example of the kind of wisdom that does not necessarily cross over from game to game.
