Help. I am trying to get a grip on the game, and having some sever difficulties in finding information.

Who is in charge of the bases of UN Aquaxenobanana, Capricorn, Metropolis, Shangri-La and the soon to be new base right outside Yang's front door at The Leader's Horde?

I have instructions for this Governor/Minister regarding the safety of their people/formers.


Next question - why are we building a base that close to Yang anyway? All I can think of is that it will be a heliport for massacring the forces in The Leader's Horde so that one day we can rename that stupid base.

More questions undoubtedly to follow.

Apart from the new base, lucky22; I'm not sure if it's within Solaris.

Is that the former University port on the southern coast? If so, it's been eaten by worms, and his air force have moved elsewhere.

OK... I presume the Probe Foils being built in Valhalla were to steal us Silksteel from Yang - was there a reason for two of them? Yang has no security measures to speak of, and they will be Hardened (IIRC).

Can I move that Missile Foil out of UN Slippery Ground to protect them going over, or can I use one of the Needlejets from UN Aquaxenobanana for support? They will be vulnerable to air attack for one turn, as they reach the tile next to UN Slippery Ground. OR, we can stop the two Missile Cruisers heading to take out Yang's sea base Sea Collective N of Morgan and send the probe teams as well, to steal before we take the base out.

Is it OK to destroy Sea Collective as well? It looks like it will be pretty nasty to defend (even with those AAA Cruisers), but then again that will mean Yang hates us forever.

And if anyone knows what broad plan Hercules had, can they let me know? I'm at odds trying to figure out what we're doing here.

Insurance, and potentially getting up to any other nasty tricks they can.

Either sounds like a good plan to me.

Assumign that it's taken itnact (which it may very well not be), then a minor investment in it could make it a deathtrap for the Hive military, as we could force them to pound their heads against a wall and bleed resources while we overrun their homeland.

I don't know that he had any, beyond an ongoing military buildup.
