in the old days we never restarted, you lost your second set, tough sh!t....nowadays the rules are looser....

still, in a duel, if someone has afghan land and the other had plus rivers etc, its over before its even begun.

strat i have always agreed with this rule..b/c your screwed in a duel, in a four man game or more, its bunk b/c there are so many ways to catch up....

granted you may need to play more than one session and you may need to change your strategy...

thats the beauty of minimum four player games...so many paths to glory

ALSO, if someone loses their capital before 3000 though, about half the time, we'll restart. It depends who it is.
