we could make the 4 you mentioned the stavka and instead of chairman it could be the secretary of the CP ie Stalin.

From the stavka ,a marshall is elected and could change from time to time as per personal workloads of the stavka members. ie I could see 4 of the people inc myself happy with this position who mentioned they would accept to get the game started.


Hightower if this is ok and there is no objections esp from yourself who has been involved longer that us maybe we could post a election for 4 members of the STAVKA instead?

Forgive me if I may seem out of place in suggesting this but I'm so keen to get started that delays are driving me close to playing RF for the 20th time again.

No, I don't think so. Front commanders and ministers may be "removed" if they are performing badly and you can always help out with the propaganda department, so sure, it's never to late to join

There are some threads that tell what happened, but I haven't read them extensively. PRAVDA may have more, and so might nominations for marshal (top) and announcing the first government.

	Just played a bit of RF with MGE for the first time! Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Damn the AI plays very differently, has anyone else played RF with MGE and FW???

I ran through the first german move 3 times with MGE and then FW and under MGE the german AI is much better and uses it higher str units first more often ie under FW it uses the rommanien inf againts my fortifyed antitank unit near odessa and loses about 6, under MGE it uses other higher str units.

I only just got MGE b/c thats what people voted to play the democracy game on.

wow, finding that .bat file makes a big difference

last time i tried the game, i formed an alliance with the germans and traded techs. i may see if Petropavlovsk needs any help in the paper mill

I am, but I am getting some weird graphic effects!

I think some files have been accidently deleted!

Could someone help their comrade and post or email me all the RedFront 1.4 zips? (I don't need the sounds)

Just the bat files and basic unit/terrain zips...

I will not be able to continue otherwise...
