The main reason for going for IW IIRC was no not building tons for warriors and then find we have no iron. The questions is if we are willing to chance that we will build a few few more warriors than we turn out being useless in echange for getting writing quicker. Since I consider the chance of us not having any iron to our north minimal I say go for writing.

I voted for writing; all arguments I could think off are already given by Dominae so I will just say I support him.
The consuls will have to make the decision, but just remember the chance we will get BW from a hut is less than 10%, so you shouldn't worry too much

BTW, if we should get another tech from the hut, say Warrior Code or The Wheel, will we go researching BW then or go for Writing instead?

We were due to pop the hut on the very next turn; so that's why the poll wasn't set for too long. BTW, the hut was popped and we got an unhappy group of Warriors surrounding W2.
