	Trip's Access Request Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

Trip has proposed he be granted access to all team's forums in order to write the history of the PTWDG.

This could expose a lot of comments and controversies we thought were made in private and were meant to be kept to the team. ("Bad News - We've been Spied Upon" comes to mind.)

What do you all think? I'm still mulling this over, but so long as the rest of the team s (and maybe Shiber's PM approval too; see above), I'd be inclined to say yes. But if anyone on the team objects, we should say no.

I think we need to mull it over... I mean, it sounds relatively harmless, but like you said, some things we've said were meant to stay private within the team. If we do, I think we'd need to clear out some select threads here and there...

I have already thought of this and honestly, I would be very much in favour of this. Trip has put enormous effort into the PtWDG project and yet he was the first one to be forced out of it. Becoming a historian able to follow each team's internal discussion should be as much fun for him as playing Lux Invicta.

As I have already said, my impression talking to him many times was the very best - fair, open, intelligent. I would personally have no problem letting him in - the least I do believe is that he will never disclose any sensitive information.

And quite frankly, if he was to protect or favour anyone, it would most likely be us, since we honestly did out best to save Lux Invicta - and our forum proves so.

So, for me.

I would not even restrict access to any threads... there is nothing that much private, I think... even the spying incident is now settled and no longer a problem...

I would, however, suggest, that he is NEVER supposed to post in this forum and that he is NEVER supposed to comment on what's happening here.

I mentioned this to Vondrack this morning but I'll post my views here also. I think it is a good idea, up to a point... I have reservations about a non team member having access to our threads and I don't really know Trip personally. In the interests of the game though I would be prepared to allow it, providing all the other teams do likewise, but I would absolutely insist on being able to delay or veto anything getting published during the game.
