What's the deal with the patch? Full PM-box? Change here!

Are we doing to install it on these games. Or have we? Does the patch work with the old game files?

The patch works with the ongoing game saves. The one problem is that the patch is currently US version only. If you have other versions, UK or German, the Euro player is out of luck as he will not be able to open his turn.

actually the solution was so simple.

I have two hard drives. So I just copied and pasted the entire folder from one to the other.

So now I have 2 copies of civ3.

In any case I was wondering when they are releasing the foreign versions of the patch.

I don't think there is any problem if you use such a patch if you do own a legal copy of the game.

But this site can be sued for promoting piracy if links to that short of software are provided freely so I can understand their policy.

Whether they are found guilty or no guilty of charge is another story but I don't think Mark and Dan are willing to find that out
