My fellow Comrades,

I have submitted myself for the position of Marshal of the Soviet Union. In the comming struggle I will need men and women of the strongest socialist character, devoted to defending the Motherland to the last.

Under my design the frontlines will be devided into six disctinct Fronts. They are as follows:

• Murmansk Front Streches from Viipuri to Murmansk and includes convoy duty from the U.K. to Murmansk
  
  
• Baltic Front Defends Riga, Pskov, Tallinn, Novgorod,Narva, Luga and Leningrad
  
  
• Northwest Front Defends Daugavpils, Vilnius, Velikiye Luki Kholm.
  
  
• Belorussian Front Defends Brest-Litovsk, Minsk, Bialystok, Vitebsk
  
  
• 1st Ukrainian Front Defends Kiev, Lvov, Kirovgrad, Gomel, Kharkov
  
  
• 2nd Ukrainian Front Defends Odessa, Kishinev, Nikolaev, Kherson, Perekop, Kerch and Sevestopol
  

Fronts will be dynamic creatures; re-constituted and created anew as the situation dictates. Modern warfare will provide for huge swaths of terrirtory exchanged in a single blow. Commanders are also wounded and might have to stop playing their turns every now and again. In cases such as this, New commanders will be called to the front from the ranks.

Only apply if you are willing to lay down your life to fight a just war! Who is with me!

If no one wants the Murmansk front, I'd like to serve.

As a Canadian I'd rather fight in cold weather than not.

What are the requirements for front commanders? Can we play with MGE?

Good to see people so eager to fight.! Posting here doesnt mean you'll be selected for said front or even at all. But it certainly lets it be known that youre interested in playing.

It's not Feld Marschall is it? Montegomery was a Field Marshal too, not the best example of course...

The Soviets used simply a Marshal.
