Weird Sleeping Pattern Problem Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

It's as if a switch has suddenly been flipped somewhere.

Up until a week or so ago, my sleeping pattern was this: Go to sleep at some point between midnight and three o'clock, in a relatively slow way, drifting off for about 20 minutes before sleep ensues. Wake up at around 6 AM, look at the bedside clock, immediately fall back asleep. Repeat once per sleeping cycle until about 11 AM, when I conciously decide to not go back to sleep and have got my eight-to-ten of shuteye.

Now, for some reason, when I wake up at 6 AM, I can no longer immediately go back to sleep. Instead I twist and turn irritably for half an hour or more, leaving me shattered the next morning.

Any sensible explanation? I've got no problem falling asleep at night!

I don't think that's it... I mean, I usually sleep until broad daylight even in mid-winter. But yeah, lemme check a meteorological site.

Sunrise at 6:26. It's a possibility! But I'm sure this didn't happen last year...

Four hours of sleep? I can't function without at least eight.

Go to bed earlier. I always go to bed at 9:00 (but usualy read for a couple hours depending how tired I am) so I always have a good chance of geting enough sleep, even if I have trouble sleeping.

Maybe you're worried about current events. Go for a walk at 6AM, then go to bed early that evening. You'll naturally wake up early the following morning, go for another walk. In this way you'll re-establish a good sleep pattern.

Don't drink coffee for a couple of days.

Sleep earlier, unless you have a reason to be nocturnal.

Melatonin might be helpful for a screwed up sleep pattern. A lot of shift workers use it with varying success.

Suffering from ads?

Be active, otherwise you'll find sleeping difficult. It's happening to me: although I do a fair amount of work, I do very little in the way of exercise or manual labour, so what happens is that I go to sleep at 2am and wake at 6am, still tired but unable to sleep any longer.

There's an excellent solution for sleeping problems: it's been around for years and it's called sex.

(1) If you can't sleep - have sex - it's something to do, and may well cause you to sleep after you've finished.

If you still can't sleep repeat step 1. Either way you're happy so what's the problem.

Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

maybe you're worried about something.
i used to sleep at odd hours but always had an 8 hour uninterupted sleep but the time it started and ended was way out of clock.

when i settled my financial problems, the problem dissapeared
true story.

so find what worries you, fix it and sweet dreams
