I'm working on a new Alien faction called "The Manifold Destroyers"
The Manifold Destroyers are a rebel group on the Progneitor homeworld sent with a hijacked supply of planet buster bombs to destroy planet, and hence end years of bloody civil war between the supporters of the Ursurpers and the Caretakers in Progneitor Space. In midst of preparing bombing, they crash either (this is sketchy) through crashing with the 2 scout ships while attempting to use her tractor beams to divert them from landing, or human missle defense systems shoot them out of the sky. They land on planet with the other alien factions.
The Manifold Destroyers land, seeing that their plans to destroy planet have failed, and the only way for them to achieve their goals is to either:
1 Establishing contact with their allies at home(normal alien victory)
2 Allowing Humans Pact Brothers to transcend (hence turning over control of Manifold 6 to a non Progneitor Race, and ending the Civil wars) They are not allowed to transcend, since doing so would keep Manifold 6 in the eyes of the Progneitor race.
At home the Manifold Destroyers backers are a subversive democratic rebel group, sick of the "upper class" (scientists, politicians) fighting over Manifold 6's experiment that most of the people dont care about. They are sick of being drafted into the alien civil war. A good deal of the group has gone AWOL from normal Progneitor militarys and is highly trained.
Being a subservive group, and elitely trained the Destroyers are good with probe teams and have small but elite military units. They do not have a negative planet status since once they crash they hardly have the means to destroy it, and have no wishes of any progneitor race to exploit it. They have military bonuses, but keeping a massive population -their "drones" diciplned behind the ideals is difficult, so they have drone riots often, and they are typically democratic and oppose planned economics.
Thats it so far, does anyone have any artistic skills that they could draw another set of Progneitor art? If so, please email me.
