Pigeons..flying rats..or noble flying rats? Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

So, what do you make of what seems to be the most visible "other" inhabitants of major American and European cities?

Do you ever feed pigeons? or do you wish some great plague would decimate them? Are pigeons part of the scenery, like in Venice's Sna Marco's plaza? Or is your burg pigeon free?

In Panama City (Panama) there were no pigoens..as for NYC..while they are everywhere, and once I got dumped on (while I was dresses up to go out ona field trip...), I don't care much either way. What annoys me is come mating time the bastards roost near my window, on our air-conditioners.

Put an end to popups!

My entire family is completely nuts about pigeons and breeding pigeons and participating in matches with them. Don't tell any of 'em this but I really like pigeons as well... on a dinner plate

Pigeons are flying rats and I'd rather shoot them than feed them. Of course I don't, as it's forbidden, but I would never consider to feed them, though, which is also officially unwanted (and at some places forbidden as well).

Pigeons are stupid stupid animals. They're so spoiled and lazy from leftovers that a couple times walking around campus I have actually kicked one accidentally because the stupid thing was too lazy to move out of the way. IMO, pigeons are worse than rats.

Flying rats for sure.

And don't eat them Not the city dwellers that is!
They all have horrible deceases, and by the look of them leprosy is least horrendous.

I had the unfortune of living groundfloor in an appartmentbuilding, and all the **** from the buggers as they would fly up (that's when they do it folks, reduce their weight, clever little rats) would land in my garden.
Talking about chemical warfare

I got pretty good at shooting them out of the air. Took me a year though to get rid of the bastards .

Tired of ads?

There is at least one kind of bird that is worse than the pigeon. I don't know if other places have them, but here in Phoenix there's this bird called a grackel (spelig?). It's like a really small crow, but way way more diseased and nasty. I swear that something like 80% of them are missing an eye or all of their tail feathers. They look like zombie birds and they make really awful noises. They don't chirp, they don't coo like pigeons, instead they kind of make a coughing noise... like a cat coughing up a hairball. Aside from being so nasty in the first place, they also like to stick their heads straight up in the air, beak facing the sky, and look at you sideways. It's creepy. Anyone else have these things 'cause they're all over Phoenix.

Actually, they are delicious!

They are something of a delicacy here in China. No, they are not the urban rat-birds, these pidgeons are specially raised for eating. They are usually served roasted, wrapped in foil. They taste somewhere between duck and chicken, with very juicy, flavorful meat.

The only drawback is that the head is usually served as well, not for eating, but for ... decorative purposes.
