Sorry about another Finnish election thread, Ming, but you'll probably accept this - I want the lowly state of Finnish nation to get seen more widely.
Yes, Tony Halme. We've spoken quite a lot about him in the Finnish election thread. He got 15,000 votes in Helsinki area, which is quite, quite a lot - and gives him a seat in the parliament. Tony published a book 'bout two years ago. Here are some statements from the book. I've translated them myself. No, I don't own the book - I got them off Muro. I've leafed through the book, though - they're authentic. And they're only the tip of the iceberg.

Tony's certainly off to a good start - he's already called the President a lesbian.
I didn't mention that Tony's got a SS lightning tattoo and another near his arse reading "EXIT ONLY", did I?

Idiots, by definition, have an IQ of under 80, at least in here.
Halme has been in a tabloid-controlled (don't get me wrong, it was completely valid test, it wasn't the worst tabloid on the market which made it) IQ-test. He scored 121. He's not an idiot. He just doesn't know a **** about political work.

He's against goverment control, so I must disagree, he's not a nazi, or at least by the definition what I'm using of National Socialists.
Halme is a guy with lots of talk and no walk. When we combine this with the fact that he's never in his life been participiating in politics, and knows nothing of them, we can safely say that he'll be a completely useless nuisance, filled with lots of anti-immigrant and (mainly) anti-homosexual rhetorics.
Still, he got ovet 16 500 votes in Helsinki. If you would know the way the general elections are held in here, you would realise that it's a ****load of votes. Erkki Tuomioja, for example, scored below 9 000.

Yes, he scored pretty well, also he speaks 4 or 5 languages? He has made lots of money with his mouth and is performer.
He is definitely NOT a nazi. He is a racist, but NOT a nazi. I think we know him better, and I'm sure he does not idolize Hitler or would like to be thought as nazi.
Racist, nationalist, anti-commie.. hmm.. this would fit very many types. This alone does not make anyone nazi. And as nationalist, he wouldn't be even called patriot in the US. Our right is not even your left. Americans would call him more patriot than nationalist, plus are there lots of pro-commies? But he is a racist, not very open 100%, but some racism is there. But if these are enough to make someone nazi, well then there are millions of nazis in this world. But I admit, he looks like one  .
And he is not stupid.. he is rather intelligent. He looks like he would be stupid. He has some colourful statements, but they are mostly about other things, things that we all hate and he wants to make them better, like criminals getting away too easy, drugs off the streets etc. His way to talk is provoking to many, but it's the way he speaks. But no, I don't think he will make a good politician. BUt there are many misconceptions here that I felt needed to be straightened out.

Pretty charismatic in interviews, usually, when using such lots of generally quite witty insults towards liberals - usually it works pretty well on the general Finnish audience, but sometimes it goes over the top - in fact, so much, that it isn't funny anymore, it's just oxymoron. Also, sometimes he's mildly drunk during interviews and goes a bit more over the top. Great entertainment, however.
