Walled and non walled cities do have some different things but none of them have to do with Purim.........

However some holidays last 2 days outside of Israel and only 1 inside of it because in time gone past it took time to spread the news from Israel to elsewhere the holiday started so they did 2 days just in case........I think this is idiotic because we now have more accurate time pieces but oh well.

But it's probably that, as you have told me, Purim is only celebrated in 14th Adar, because only a few group of (western) cities were walled in the time of Joshua...
