I obviously cant attend any new chat, but you guys are welcome to come up with some times and contact him.

I have not responded to his last email.

I really want to let him know that we suspect that they have an alliance, and that the Vox trade was done without a resell clause intentionally, just to see how close their relationship is with Vox. And also let them know of our frustration that they never came back to us with a counter-offer.

I told you that should have been done in a chat. zeit is too good of a diplomat to give time, and very formal. Ralph is a hot-head when confronted. The PERFECT one to catch in a chat. Great job, GF!

He responded with " Why does your team consider us a treat?"

I think he meant threat but when I asked him if they were chocolate covered he said "You know English isn't my first language...." and then the conversation pretty much dropped off.

I see 3 cities:
One on the Northernmost tile
One on the Southernmost tile
One tile south of GFs Northern City

Compact spacing promotes a short game(Hospitals are less important) and Defence.

Interesting point but whales are +1/+1/+2 which is what we'd get from 1 extra tile, and we won't need culture to get there, which we will for the whale tile. Eigther way is OK with me,

No we would get +!/+0/+2 from and extra tile. Whales are THE ONLY SHIELD source from water tiles until Offshore Platforms.

Note that the 2 city placement gives us all the land tiles except for a mountain tile - only one shield.

The three city placement does the same thing. Plus less cities equals less corruption from exceeding the Optimal City number not that I have any idea what that is on this map.
