Well, I guess I should write something that sounds vaguely likely a campaign speech.

* Kloreep clears his throat

I've been about the least active of the active members here, I know; but I want to pay more attention to Legoland and contribute, so here I am.

I've been the Regional Governor of the province of Upper Apolyton in the SPDG for a while now; it's a province of about ten cities in a nation of around 50-60. So while this will be my first time looking after an entire nation's infrastructure, I do have some basic experience for the job.

During the next month (or 30 turns or so), I hope to see many more units produced. I don't see the need for much infrastructure just yet; lacking both Religious and Scientific traits, that isn't our strength. Right now, we need to expand and build up our military. Only then can we get to the basics of Temples, Markets, and Libraries.

I plan to get some basic timetables and queues set up for Legoland's cities. While we of course must be fluid and ready to change as the world around us changes, planning ahead will hopefully enable a turn or worker move to be shaved off here or there, and we need every advantage we can get in this game.

Anyway, that's about it... remember, vote Kloreep, because the cat is cute!

Enter the AD-FREE zone

My stance will vary little from Kloreep. Infrastructure is not needed at this point in the game. Building our military is more important, but mostly thourgh defensive units. At this point in time, REXing is the name of the game.

I think the most important contribution of the Master Builder would be to develop a strutured format to accomodate future cities and builds. In other works, develop a spreadsheet, by city, to track current builds, approx. turns to build, build queues, etc. Using this defined format, future Master Builders can communicate the current status to the team. Leaders can get a quick understand of future plans and how to play a specific turn.

I also must point out one negative concerning my time commitment. On most weekends (Fri night to Sun Evening), I am unavailable due to RL family issues. In order to accommodate the different time zones, most planned chats are held during the weekend. I will not be able to attend most of the chats.

With all that in mind, make an informed vote.

Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

Well, I guess I should set up shop. Thanks for running lmtoops; I hope you win next time you run.

I'm pretty busy this weekend and basically won't be able to do anything. But I hope to set up a basic plan for discussion next week. I'll also try to keep specific plans at least 5 turns ahead after that.

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

No problem, I was a bit of a long shot. At least my mother voted for me.
