Seriously, I'm more and more thinking pro-war people really take this as a cool hollywood flick, even though they'd hate admitting it.
The "awesome pictures" thread shown real-life spectacular explosions and hardware, kinda Matrix-like. The whole "this war is right" phrase gives an Independence-day like moral. The refusal to see the horrors your war will create just adds to the way the reality is embellished, exactly like in a flick.
Before going to bed, my brother said : "I don't know if I'll sleep well. For I know that tomorrow, when I wake up, people will have been killed".
How many pro-war people here merely care about the death, suffering and havoc your splendid army will wreak ? Everytime I try to talk about this with a pro-war person, it is immediately dismissed by a "we are right, because we do this to topple a terrible dictator". I hear how terrible it was not to abide by UN resolutions, I hear about how terrible was Saddam to gas his own people, I hear how terrible the terrorists (supposedly linked to Iraq, we've yet to see a proof) are. Yet I don't hear how terrible your splendid little war will be.
It is sickening.

Idd, I agree, though I won't have trouble sleeping, as there is simply so much injustice in the world (that I read in the paper everyday, perhaps these things don't reach the US media, save for the few quality papers there) that it's not really touching me.
Only when I get personally involved or if I get up and close to witness the carnage I wouldn't be able to sleep... However I DO care, something which a lot of interviewees on the telly don't seem to do!
Just watch CNN or BBC world 
You'll get more Live shows, exclusive footages, dangerous pictures and explosions that you can take.... Naturally, you will only see the explosions from afar, not seeing the damage, and of course, civilian casualties won't be mentioned, unless there is no way possible to deny it!
24h/day non stop War on television, I know some people here who will be overjoyed, even though they won't want to admit! hah
I've given up on television, as there is only 1 reliable channel in Belgium and even that is being transformed into... popular subjective crap (well in news broadcasting that is)
